Rainwater Harvesting

Omnipole have researched and developed systems to both recycle waste water and catch and contain our natural resource - rainwater.

A recent recycling project carried out by us for a Golf course involved the recycling of black and grey waste water back into 100% pure water to be used for watering, grounds maintenance equipment high pressure wash downs together with window and general cleaning.

The project involved linking a large waste recycling unit, together with a series of water filtration equipment including Reverse Osmosis.  A storage facility 5000 Litres of water are at the disposal of the staff.

The storage gives a constant supply of 3000 litres of  water  for machine wash downs and watering duties together with  2000 Litres  treated  super pure water for glass cleaning etc.

Rainwater harvesting involves catching and containing rain from roof areas and treating it for use by domestic and commercial customers. The average home can produce as much as 100,000 litres per year which may be put to a multitude of uses in the grounds and property.
